Father was a concert violinist Fred carries the family trait and a tune as a singer in Chicago and Milwaukee area night clubs to pay for tuition at Carroll College in Wisconsin After graduation, secures leading roles on Broadway and in the early 1930s moves to Los Angeles where he is discovered and signed by Paramount Studios TV serials and movies: “G.E Theatre” 1955-58“My Three Sons” 1960-72 First cinematic movie: “Girls Go Wild” 1934
