Harry Houdini lived next door to the O’Brien family and taught Edmond how to perform magic   Edmond develops and starts his own magic show charging small admission fee in local venues at the age of twelve   Money from the magic show revue is spent on tuition for acting classes at the Neighborhood Playhouse School in New York    Auditions in front of and is approved by Orson Welles as actor in Welles’ Mercury Theatre   TV serials and movies: LUX Video Theatre  1951-57  “Sam Benedict” 1962-1963  “Disneys Wonderful World of Color” 1965  Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor “Barefoot Countess” 1959   Academy Award nomination Best Actor “Seven Days in May” 1964    First cinematic movie: “Prison Break” 1938
