An orphan at age three, he was adopted into a loving family and raised at Corydon, Indiana World War II: MP of the United States Army stationed in Europe until completion of tour of duty After the war he remained in the Army where he transferred to Special Services producing training films and performing at USO shows for troops overseas Moved to Hollywood as a civilian and received parts in television and western movies TV serials and movies: “Cavalcade of America” 1953-56 “West Point” 1957 “Trackdown” 1957-58 “The Wagon Train” 1957-60 “Man Into Space” 1960 “The Andy Griffith Show” 1960-1961 “Rawhide” 1963-1964 “Gunsmoke” 1964-69, The Dukes of Hazzard” 1979-85 First cinematic movie: “Comanche Territory” 1950
