Graduate of Sandhurst Military School in the United Kingdom   Trained with the Highland Light Guard stationed on the island of Malta until assigned command as Gunnery Instructor on the island of Cuba    Completed tour of duty and moved to Hollywood for bit part in movie “Mutiny on the Bounty”   Recalled for service by the British Army in World War II after which he retires from the British Army with the rank of Colonel   TV serials and movies: “Four Star Playhouse” “Alcoa Theatre” “The David Niven Show” “The Rogues” “Author” “The Moon is a Balloon” “Bring on the Empty Horses” “Round and Rugged Rocks” “Go Slowly”    Academy Award for Best Actor “Separate Tables” 1958     First cinematic movie: “Mutiny on the Bounty” 1934
