Bass player in high school rock band and leading actor in school plays    First leading role in high school play: “West Side Story”    Popular actor in community theatre productions in metro Chicago    Co-founder (with other actors such as John Malkovich) of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago  Sinise performs and directs for the Company and expands his repertoire to Broadway where he plays leading roles in “True West” and “The Grapes of Wrath”    Military service: portrayed Vietnam soldier Lt. Dan in movie “Forrest Gump” and formed rock music group “Lt.
